I created this mandala following instructions given by  Pily Núñez    in one of her workshops.

While making the mandala I fell in love with the technique that I created this second one.

Using the Onion Holder

These pieces were the very first things that I quilled.
In addition, this is the very first time that I worked with the onion holder (quilling comb). You can also see my lack of expertise in using the glue.

Husking Flowers

I was practicing with the quilling comb and Pily Núñez challenged me to see if I could copy her model without instructions. Well ... you'll be the judge if I was able to do it. .

This is yellow flower is the one that Pily posted for me to see if I could reproduce

and this white flower is my version

Then I decided to work on my own and this is what I created

Floral and Mother Day's Card

These cards were done following the instructions given by  Pily Núñez in two different workshops.

This second card was done celebrating Mother's Day

Snowflake Parade

During August and September I have already been working on Christmas.
While visiting a craftstore that carries quilling items I saw a snowflake kit that had 8 beautiful designs. Of course, I bought it and have been hard at work.
These are the results:

I hope you liked them!

Playing with shapes and colors 1

I have always liked the Mandalas and this week I had the opportunity to play with basic shapes and colors. These are two takes of a very similar design, using the same shapes, and  almost the same colors.
