Kitty Cat Sammy

“Kitty Cat Sammy” is my latest creation.   My real Sammy’s beautiful blue eyes were a big source of inspiration. 

This piece is way out of my comfort zone and I must say that I really enjoyed letting my inspiration go wild.

My first Copenhagen Star spinoff

I have always been fascinated with the Copenhagen Star so this is what I came up with. 

 

I also included the "deconstructed" components.
I made two stars, one more traditional and the other is a variation. The smallest one is 4.5" in diameter and the largest is 6" diameter. Both are made with 3mm wide papers and using a regular comb.

I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
