My Royal Crowned Flycatcher

Some time ago, and almost at the same time, two friends sent me the picture of a crowned flycatcher bird and a suggested that I quill it. Well, I was not ready to take up the challenge until now. Here is my rendition of that beautiful bird.

My personal challenges were: make the eyes all in one piece and the scrolls to resemble the clouds where he is sitting on.

 My framed version is 11x14”.
